The Oxford Forum's Speakers' Corner

  • Blue Boar Lecture Theatre Christ Church Oxford United Kingdom (map)

The Oxford Forum's new initiative is the Speakers' Corner. Our aim is to provide students with a platform to voice their opinions on issues that matter to them. Topics can range from poetry to politics, sculpture to science.

Any person is welcome to give a speech lasting no more than 10 minutes on a subject of their choice and there will be time for a few questions after each speech.

Our confirmed speakers so far are:

1) Jan Nedvidek on 'Why I'm a conservative'
2) Ben Murphy on 'Faith and Witness in Oxford University'
3) Lucinda Chamberlain on 'Behavioural economics and its role in shaping public policy'
4) David Browne on 'How the student Left is losing touch with reality'
5) Marco Fullon Narajos on "Mental Health Policy"
6) Jacob Williams on 'Why Rhodes must *not* fall".
